I recently published this video about my one meal a day experiment and explained how quickly I lost fat all over my body, specially around my waist. One of the most common questions has been whether I put the weight back on once I extended my eating window to 8 hours.
The answer is no, I didn’t put weight back on. I stopped eating one meal a day as the fat loss happened so quickly. Slow and steady works better for my fitness goals and for my lifestyle.
Once I went back to eating during a period of 8 hours, the very quick fat loss stopped. I’m still loosing fat but at a slower rate which is what I want. That’s what I love about intermittent fasting, that you get amazing results even when you have a rather large eating window such as 8 hours. This is a great schedule for me, it works for my body and it makes fasting an effortless experience. If I wanted to get leaner, I would reduce my eating window to 7 or 6 hours a day.
