Some people claim that the paleo diet is bad for the thyroid, specially a woman’s thyroid. In this video I discuss my experience with the paleo diet and my thyroid issues and explain what is behind those issues and how the paleo diet has been great to improve my thyroid function.
Some ways in which the paleo diet can support thyroid function is through lowering down inflammation, improving digestion and removing foods known to be bad for the thyroid such as soy, gluten containing foods and refined carbohydrates.
CORRECTION: At 4:08 I state that my gall bladder wasn’t producing enough bile. I should have said that my liver wasn’t producing enough bile, and my gall bladder had inappropriate release of the bile that was produced by the liver.
