I get a lot of questions about whether a paleo or ketogenic diet is better for health. I personally follow a paleo diet but have tried a keto diet and stayed in ketosis for a couple of months. While this was a great experience for many reasons, I found that a paleo diet suits me better. The answer to this question depends on each individual and their goals.
I find that a ketogenic diet is fantastic for mental clarity and energy and it feels like a very peaceful state for the body. I don’t have any serious health issues to deal with and I like having more flexibility in my diet. Weight loss is not something I’m trying to achieve either, so for this reason I choose a Paleo diet. It helps me keep the weight I want on, gives me energy and I find my eating experience a lot more enjoyable. Let me know what you think!
