Today I’m sharing a very simple recipe for sauerkraut. All you need is cabbage, salt and water. Sauerkraut is an amazing food which is loaded with beneficial bacteria and it’s great for better digestion, more energy and boosting our immune system.
Intake of good bacteria leads to a healthy microbiome (healthy gut flora). A healthy microbiome results in improved digestion, improved mood (due to the strong connection between our gut and our brain), and reduced inflammation due to the immunosuppressive effect of the good bacteria on our immune response.
