In this video, I talk about 3 easy habits that have and continue to transform my health.
The three healthy habits I mentioned in this video are:
– Wearing orange goggles after the sun goes down: Orange goggles are amazing because they block blue light from electronics and light bulbs which makes them really helpful to have a good night’s sleep, balance the circadian rhythm, lowering stress and boosting melatonin production earlier in the night. These are also great if you have problems with a delay getting to sleep after going to bed.
– Hiking: This year I set a goal to make hiking a more regular part of my life. Hiking is great for its cardiovascular benefits and it also is very helpful for strenghtening the feet and legs since you are walking on uneven surfaces during most of the hilk. Normally, we walk on flat surfaces and this can lead to tight foot and leg ligaments. It’s also an amazing way to clear the mind, release stress and energize.
– Oil pulling: This ancient practice is a wonderful way to keeo great oral hygiene which is very important for overall health. Swishing oil in the mouth for a few minutes helps remove food from the teeth, plaque and even tartar from the teeth and gums.
